Captain Jim and Eloy made the trip unforgettable. My 9-year-old was set up to catch fish right away, and the adults were too. They brought us to a few different spots so we could target a mix of species, with trout being the highlight of the day. They were just as fired up as we were every time a rod bent. I’ll definitely be back. I can’t recommend Captain Jim enough, especially if you’re bringing kids.

They moved us around to different spots so we could target a mix of species, but trout ended up being the highlight of the day. Their energy matched ours every time a rod bent. We landed the biggest fish we’ve ever caught! The bay was busy and the water was choppy, so we didn’t get any table fish, but Captain Jim went above and beyond to make sure we hooked into some monsters. It was an awesome experience for five wild guys on a boys trip. Eloy, the first mate, was super knowledgeable, helpful, and kept us laughing the whole time. Both guys were a blast to fish with—10/10 all around. We’ll definitely be back!

It turned into an unforgettable day for five guys on a boys’ trip. Eloy was dialed in and helpful the whole way, and both of them kept us laughing. We’ll be back for sure.

Captain Jim put us on Black Drum shortly after leaving the marina, and we had steady action right away. Once we were happy with the catch, we moved to a new spot to target Sheepshead. We landed several, plus a surprise Trout to top things off. Overall, it was a great trip with plenty of bites and a good variety of fish!
